Professional Treatment Instructions
1. Heating the Treatment —Three Options
Microwave
•Place a single treatment at a time on a paper towel in the microwave with the plush loop fastener removed. Heat for no more than 60 seconds. Ensure the tray and the treatment are constantly rotating. Flip and repeat. If wax is mostly melted and thermochromic heart indicator is red, move to next step. If not, flip over and heat for another 30-60 seconds. Carefully remove from microwave.
•Treatment is completely heated when Parasilk® paraffin wax fill is clear and the thermochromic heart indicator is red. Sometimes this can take an additional minute or two in the microwave as not all microwaves heat the same. Once the thermochromic heart indicator is red, carefully remove from the microwave. Carry treatment carefully by the opening to prevent spilling and gently massage the outside of the bag to ensure an even consistency.
•Once the liquid is no longer clear and the thermochromic heart is no longer red, the treatment is ready to use.
Steamer
•Place two treatments in the pre-warmed steamer using tongs starting with the thermochromic heart indicator facing down. Steam for 1-2 minutes and flip with tongs.
•Remove the treatment if thermochromic heart indicator has turned red to allow some time for the product to begin to cool and place on a towel to dry.
•Set aside until the thermochromic heart indicator is no longer red and the liquid is no longer clear but still warm to the touch.
Hot Towel Cabinet
•Place two treatments on a towel in your pre-warmed hot towel cabinet for 30 minutes prior to use. If cabinet is cold, double the time.
•Remove the treatment 1-2 minutes prior to use if thermochromic heart indicator has turned red to allow some time for the treatment to cool.
•Set aside until the thermochromic heart indicator is no longer red and the liquid is no longer clear but still warm to the touch.
•Note you may load a cabinet with several sets of treatments if you have a busy day and would like to quickly grab and treat. We do not recommend leaving the treatment in the cabinet for over 4 hours.
2. Performing The Treatment
•Place a clothe towel under each treatment area along with a paper towel on top of the clothe. This will catch any debris for quick disposal.
•Make sure the treatment is upright to prevent wax from spilling and insert treatment area into the treatment. Wrap with a clothe towel.
•Treat for 10 minutes.
3. Removing The Treatment
•Carefully remove treatment and set to the side.
•Use the remaining oil to massage the treated area.
•Pat dry to remove any excess oil. Do not wash skin afterwards to allow for oil absorption.
4. Storing Instructions
•This treatment has a shelf life of two years when unopened.
•Parasilk® paraffin wax therapy treatments should be stored at room temperature.
